Our goal is to help your child stay on track with their school day as laid out by their regular public school. For example, if your child starts with a zoom in the morning followed by a free reading period, we will be there in the classroom making sure your child is getting off to a successful start and helping out when they run into trouble.
If your child finishes their regular school day early, we will have engaging and fun supplementary curriculum for your child. They can play chess with a buddy, try coding, practice math on one of several super engaging math programs, or read a book, rate it, and write a review. The goal is to help them through their regular school day as assigned by your home school district and then keep the learning going with fun but substantive learning apps.
We will have both morning and afternoon recess as well as a lunch break. We believe learning and academics are the primarly goal of school but another important benefit is simply being with other kids, having fun at recess and lunch, and making new friends. At Harper Hybrid, we look forward to letting the kids get back to being kids.
