Esperanza Hernandez

Esperanza Hernandez is our Head of School and Preschool Director. Previously, Esperanza served as a Principal at Stratford School for seven years. During her tenure, Esperanza helped to double enrollment at the campus she led and generate a two year wait-list. Her prior roles included: Head of Admissions, Vice Principal, Teacher Trainer, and Administrator. She also coordinated the launch of several new campuses in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. Additionally, Esperanza taught Preschool for six years, and was recognized as "Teacher of the Year" by San Jose Magazine in 2004.

Esperanza studied Early Childhood Education at West Valley College.

Esperanza, along with her five siblings, was raised in the Bay Area. She currently lives in San Jose with her husband of thirty-two years, Paul, and is a mother to two independent, adult children: Marco and Tiani.
